The Vitebsk region police are conducting drug trafficking prevention

In the Vitebsk region, the main stage of a comprehensive set of preventive measures aimed at combating the illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their precursors and analogues is underway until December 22. This was reported to BELTA by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

Police officers are monitoring individuals who consume drugs without a specialist doctor's prescription. Work is also being carried out with individuals previously convicted of drug trafficking offenses to prevent them from committing offenses.

The police remind that the prevention of illicit drug trafficking is under special control of law enforcement officers.
