The budget of the Vitebsk region has been replenished by 22.7 million rubles; the additional funds will be allocated to agriculture, the social sphere, and housing and communal services.

The regional budget has been replenished by more than 22.7 million rubles. The regional council of deputies session approved a decision on the redistribution of additional resources.

As reported by Gennady Grebnev, Head of the Main Financial Department of the Regional Executive Committee, the stable performance of the Vitebsk region's economy has allowed for the receipt of above-plan revenues totaling over 16.4 million rubles. Additionally, targeted subsidies of over 6.3 million rubles have been received from the republican budget for the current repair of local roads.

From own revenues, allocations for agriculture will increase by 10 million rubles to pay for fuel purchased to complete autumn field work and to ensure the timely preparation of equipment for the spring sowing campaign. An opportunity has been found to allocate 500 thousand rubles for the purchase of technical means of social rehabilitation for vulnerable population groups. Additional funds will be allocated to the spheres of education, healthcare, culture, and sports.

Furthermore, through the redistribution of other types of expenditures, district executive committees will receive over 4.8 million rubles for the capital repair and modernization of the housing stock.
