On Father's Day, Anton Ryzhankov from Orsha received his main gift – he took his long-awaited firstborn from the maternity hospital.
He grunts a little and looks around with wide-open eyes. This is how little Yaroslav was prepared for discharge. Father's Day became a beautiful final chord in the Week of Parental Love. How this holiday went for one of the residents of Orsha.
Anton Ryzhankov's morning began unusually. For the young father, this day will forever remain in his memory, because today he held his son in his arms for the first time.
Marina Novitskaya, Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Women's Union, hurried to congratulate the young parents:
– What an incredible morning it is today, as Father's Day is celebrated on this day. There is nothing better or happier than the arrival of a child. So many people have become happier today because of the arrival of your child! Help each other, be together, raise your baby, and cherish it, because the most blessed thing in the world is family.
As a gift from the Belarusian Women's Union, the parents received a useful and unusual "diaper" cake. And also gifts for each family member: mother, father, and little son.
When his son was brought out, Anton did not hesitate and tenderly took him in his arms.
– At first, there was joy, now I can't explain what's inside: everything is boiling, bubbling, – Anton admitted.
Anton himself comes from a large family, so in the future he would like their family to become even larger.
His wife Anna shared that their son was named Yaroslav. The husband chose the name right away and really wanted the boy to be named that way.
Anna Khrol, head of the obstetric observation department of the Vitebsk Regional Clinical Hospital, noted that during the Week of Parental Love (from October 14 to 21), 11 babies were born: 8 boys and 3 girls.
