The regional youth forum "#OСA" gathered more than 100 participants
The regional youth forum "#OСA" for working, including rural, youth, dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League (Komsomol) and the 60th anniversary of the Belarusian student teams, gathered over 100 participants at the "Energetik" children's health camp in the village of Malye Lyottsy, Vitebsk district. The Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Vyacheslav Durnov, took part in the grand opening.
– The BRSM unites youth, creating conditions for their self-realization in various fields of activity. Today, the student team movement is the best thing that the modern Belarusian Republican Youth Union has taken from the Komsomol. For the development of the state, it is important that youth, in unity, are ready to work for the benefit and prosperity of their native country, – noted Vyacheslav Durnov. – With your real deeds, you are making a worthy contribution to the development of our Motherland. The youth movement is based on patriotism, diligence, and the continuity of generations. We can confidently say that the future of the country is in reliable hands.
Within the framework of the forum, the results of the Third Labor Semester were summarized, and the best student teams, labor affairs headquarters, commanders, and commissars were awarded based on the results of the regional stage of the republican competition "Labor Semester" for the best student team and the best organization hosting a student team. The finale of the opening will be a festive flash mob dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the Komsomol. During the forum, the Vitebsk region joined the republican campaign "Relay of Warmth" for chopping firewood. The fighters will deliver the wood to a lonely elderly resident, Tamara Sheptun, from the village of Zaprudye, Vitebsk district.
Activists will also participate in a sports and competition program where participants will demonstrate their strength and endurance. In the evening, the results will be summarized and the winning teams will be awarded.
