Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin introduced the new head of the Senno district
At the session of the District Council of Deputies, Oleg Makarevich was approved as the Chairman of the Sennensky District Executive Committee. Prior to this appointment, he headed the well-known agricultural enterprise "Mayak Vysokoe" in the Orsha District.
Oleg Makarevich was born in 1974 in the urban-type settlement of Orekhovsk, Orsha District. In 2001, he graduated from the Saint Petersburg State Institute of Service and Economics. From 1996 to 2004, he worked at industrial enterprises in Orsha. From 2008 to 2012, he held the position of Business Manager of the Orsha District Executive Committee. He then headed the Orsha District Committee of the Agro-Industrial Complex Workers' Union and worked as Deputy Director of OJSC "Mayak Vysokoe" in the Orsha District. Since 2018, he has been heading the agricultural enterprise.
Introducing the new head to the region's active members, Vladimir Davydovsky, Head of the Main Department of Organizational and Personnel Work of the Regional Executive Committee, noted that Oleg Arkadyevich, during his tenure in various positions, has proven himself to be an initiative-taking, competent, and energetic leader. He possesses modern management skills and approaches tasks creatively. While working as the director of the agricultural enterprise, he consistently focused on increasing efficiency, boosting production volumes, reducing costs, and implementing advanced technologies. Under his leadership, the gross production of grain and leguminous crops, milk, average daily weight gain of cattle, and average monthly wages of employees increased. He is characterized by a respectful attitude towards people, sociability, and the ability to persuade and defend his point of view.
In his speech, Oleg Makarevich stated that as he takes the helm of the ship called "Sennensky District," he fully understands that the wind will not always be favorable. Sometimes, everyone will have to row together to reach the goal. He expressed confidence that the set tasks will be manageable for everyone.
Alexander Subbotin, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, emphasized that, personally for him, a positive aspect of Oleg Arkadyevich's biography was that he was not afraid to move from public service to the agro-industrial sector at the time, with all the inherent difficulties. This speaks volumes. He not only managed to preserve the accumulated achievements of the farm but also to multiply them. It is also impressive that Oleg Makarevich was concerned about leaving the agricultural enterprise during a difficult drought year. The only argument that convinced him was that Sennensky District also experienced drought, but the scale of the upcoming work was greater.
Alexander Subbotin described Oleg Makarevich as an intelligent, calm person who will tackle the assigned task without strain. And there is only one task: Sennensky district is consistently in the middle of the top district rankings, although there are opportunities for advancement, there are people and projects.
