The Ministry of Industry presented the Vitebsk region with a certificate for a Gomselmash grain harvester

In a conversation with journalists, Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee Anzhelika Nikitina emphasized that the exhibition showcases the best examples of modern domestic technology that can be touched. It is pleasing that there are many children and young people among the visitors. This is very important because it forms the foundation of our future. Young people see that domestic mechanical engineering is developing. Perhaps some of them, having visited this wonderful celebration created by the friendly family of machine builders, will want to tie their future to the industry.

Vitebsk region also has its own history of mechanical engineering. The first enterprise was established in 1900 in Orsha. Today, "Krasny Borets" operates quite successfully, producing various types of machine tools. In total, almost 50 machine-building enterprises of various forms of ownership operate in the Vitebsk region. We are proud of our products: lifts, televisions, electrical measuring instruments, water treatment plants.

According to Anzhelika Nikitina, such celebrations are necessary, regardless of the field of activity. They show that we are developing, despite sanctions and difficult conditions.

It became known that the Ministry of Industry handed over a gift certificate for a Gomselmash combine harvester to the host party. It will find its owner next Friday at the regional festival-fair of rural workers "Dazhynki-2023".
