A meeting of the regional headquarters for the preparation and holding of the regional festival-fair «Dazhynki-2023» was held in Sharkovshchina.
A meeting of the regional headquarters for the preparation and holding of the regional festival-fair "Dazhynki-2023" was held in Sharkovshchina, chaired by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev.
– What was promised to the people must be fulfilled, – noted Vladimir Terentyev. – First of all, the residents of Sharkovshchina should feel how their quality of life has improved, see that major and current repairs of housing have been carried out, and tens of kilometers of new asphalt and comfortable sidewalks have been laid.
At the headquarters meeting, the heads of regional and district organizations clarified the work schedules, and voiced the problems they are facing. Prompt decisions were made regarding the redistribution of forces, and who and where needs assistance.
A business discussion was held, which will help to speed up the repair and construction process.
– Not all planned facilities will be commissioned by the festival-fair, – stated the headquarters members. – But what has already been done has changed the appearance of the city. It is improving before our eyes.
The headquarters participants were able to see this for themselves by visiting a dozen facilities. Secondary School No. 1 of Sharkovshchina has become a school of the future. Spacious, beautiful classrooms, a modern assembly hall, a well-equipped canteen, and new equipment are an incomplete list of what the students received for the academic year. A new stadium will appear next to the building in September-October.
A 40-apartment residential building will be commissioned for the holiday. Landscaping is underway next to it.
– We can already say that life is changing for the better, – noted Vladimir Terentyev. – Thanks to "Dazhynki," Sharkovshchina is no longer a city with the lowest wages. There are jobs, people's incomes are growing, and life is becoming more comfortable.
