The regional festival of rural workers "Dazhynki" in the Vitebsk region will again be held in two stages

The "Dazhynki" festival for rural workers in the Vitebsk region will be held for the 15th time and will repeat last year's concept.

This was announced to journalists by the Chairman of the Regional Council of Deputies, Vladimir Terentyev, before the meeting of the organizing committee for the event, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.

The regional "Dazhynki" will be held in two stages, as was tested last year. Vitebsk agrarians will be congratulated on the completion of agricultural work on September 29 in Sharkovshchina, and on the eve of the Day of Workers of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Agro-Industrial Complex, a general festival and celebration will be held for them in Vitebsk. "Last year we tried this format and decided that it should be taken as a basis. The peculiarity of the northern region is its early autumn cold, and holding a large-scale regional festival outdoors even at the end of September will not be very comfortable for participants and guests. In Sharkovshchina, with the regional "Dazhynki," we will launch district festivals for rural workers, where the regional leadership will be present as much as possible to thank the agrarians for their hard work," noted the head of the region's deputy corps.

Vladimir Terentyev also spoke about the renovated facilities that will be commissioned and the venues that will be presented at the festival in the capital of this year's regional "Dazhynki." "In Sharkovshchina, social and cultural facilities will be renovated and improved for the agrarian festival. Among them are a secondary school, which is planned to be put into operation by the beginning of the academic year, and a district hospital. Another important social facility that will appear by "Dazhynki" will be a 40-apartment building for young specialists, fully dedicated to rental housing," noted the chairman of the regional council of deputies.

Mobile trade, platforms of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, State Automobile Inspectorate, educational institutions, and other organizations and departments will become one of the highlights of the agrarian festival. "At the 'Dazhynki' in the district center, interactive platforms must be arranged in such a way that they are locally accessible and convenient, so it is necessary to visit the site and determine the locations," - Vladimir Terentyev instructed the representatives of organizations and departments.
