Accredited participants of the II CIS Games will be able to visit cultural sites in Vitebsk and Orsha free of charge

Accredited guests and participants of the II CIS Games will be able to visit cultural sites in Vitebsk and Orsha free of charge. This was announced by Denis Shkiryanov, Deputy Head of the Department of Sports and Tourism of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.

"A pleasant bonus for guests will be the tourism component, when all participants will have the opportunity to take part in walking tours. We have discussed with the cultural sector so that all cultural sites - museums, exhibitions, and so on - will be open. And everyone who has accreditation for the II CIS Games will be able to visit them for free," he explained.

Earlier, the Department of Sports and Tourism of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee reported that almost 25 walking routes have been developed in Vitebsk and Orsha for the Games. Most of them will cover the historical parts of the cities and tell about the achievements of the region, including in sports. Some blocks will be dedicated to cultural themes. Routes for organized groups have been prepared separately, which will allow them to visit other cities of the northern region and even the country. And taking into account the preferences of guests, organizers will be able to form and offer options on the go.

The II CIS Games will be held in Belarus from August 4 to 14. The northern region will host Muay Thai competitions in Vitebsk and boxing in Orsha.
