We congratulate you on the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus and the 79th anniversary of the country's liberation from the Nazi invaders!

Turning to the landmark events in the centuries-old history of our statehood, we strengthen common national values and raise the banner of our sovereignty high. For every citizen, the main national holiday of the country is filled with spiritual meaning.

The residents of Vitebsk region have something to be proud of: our region occupies a special place in the country's history – the origins of our statehood are on the ancient land of Polotsk, the Vitebsk art school has made an invaluable contribution to the development of world art. And today, the region continues to actively build up its socio-economic potential. The growth points of the real sector of the economy are the development of industrial and agricultural complexes.

We bow to the feat of the generation of victors who defeated the formidable enemy and raised the country from the ruins. Their selfless love for the Motherland is an example for today's and future generations.

In modern Belarus, the memory of its history and its heroes is deeply honored. Memory helps to strengthen and build the future of the country on the principles of justice, equality and care for people.
