A sportsman from the Vitebsk region became the European junior champion in Greco-Roman wrestling

Belarusian Kirill Valevsky became the European Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Champion (U-17) in Tirana, reports a BELTA correspondent.

In the final of the 60 kg weight category, the Belarusian wrestler decisively defeated Turkish athlete Halil Cinara with a score of 8:0.

For Belarusian wrestlers, the competitions in the Albanian capital are the first after returning to official international starts. Belarusians, like Russians, are competing under a neutral status.
