Alexander Subbotin: Novopolotsk is a city of innovators, workers, and inspirers
The significance of the city of Belarusian oil workers for the country is understood not only by its residents, young and old, but also by representatives of all branches of government.
The industrial center, where one of the leading flagships of Belarus's petrochemical industry operates, makes a significant contribution to the economy of both the Vitebsk region and the entire state. Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee Alexander Subbotin, addressing the residents of Novopolotsk at a festive ceremony, noted that this city knows how to achieve a lot, to embody the boldest ideas, and all large and small cities of the region should follow this example. "This city is an innovator, a worker, an inspirer. You actively modernize enterprises, carry out technological re-equipment, implement cluster initiatives, develop new types of products, expand sales markets, heal, teach, and build new residential areas. You succeed in everything and always. It was here that the first huge oil refinery was built, and the best school for petrochemistry and oil product processing appeared. I would like to wish that in Novopolotsk the words "first" and "best" are heard more often and are inextricably linked with this city," the head of the region wished the heroes of the occasion.
