In the Vitebsk region, early grain crops have been sown on 11% of the planned area

As of this morning, early grain seeds have been sown in the soil on 317 thousand hectares, which is 49 percent of the plan (69 percent last year). This was reported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

Over the weekend, there have been changes in the conditional regional standings for this indicator. Grodno region has moved into first place with 91 percent (91), leaving Brest region in second place with 88 percent (99). Minsk region has moved into third place with 52 percent (81), surpassing Gomel region with 46 percent (100). Mogilev region has 23 percent (26), and Vitebsk region has 11 percent (23).
