The Republican Subbotnik will be held in Belarus on April 22
The republican subbotnik (volunteer work day) will be held in Belarus on April 22. This is stipulated by a resolution of the Council of Ministers, signed by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, the government's press service reported.
The press service also explained where the funds earned on the day of the subbotnik, including at workplaces, will be directed.
Thus, half of the funds are planned to be sent to the Gomel Regional Executive Committee for the reconstruction of the memorial complex to the prisoners of the Ozarichi death camp (Kalinkovichi District). Another 50% will be transferred to the Brest Regional Executive Committee for the creation of a republican center for patriotic education of youth on the basis of the Kobrin Fortress of the Brest Fortress.
