Attention hunters!

The Verkhnedvinsk Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora hereby informs that from November 01, 2025, to January 25, 2026, in accordance with the Hunting Rules, the autumn-winter hunting season for the following species of game animals is open:

Hunting is permitted during daylight hours for certain species of game animals such as: Mountain hare, brown hare, squirrel, pine marten, stone marten, American mink, muskrat, European polecat, fox, raccoon dog.

Species and Methods of Hunting: For hares – rifle hunting from ambush, stalking, and driving. Non-rifle hunting – with sighthounds, and birds of prey. For foxes and raccoon dogs – rifle hunting: den hunting, non-rifle hunting: den hunting. For squirrels, pine martens, stone martens, American minks, muskrats, and European polecats – rifle hunting by stalking, including with hunting dogs (of all breeds except sighthounds). Non-rifle hunting – with traps and snares (excluding loops) throughout the day (when hunting with traps and/or snares (excluding loops) their setting (removal), checking, setting, and retrieval of caught animals are permitted only during daylight hours).
