Pike-perch fishing is prohibited!

In order to preserve the fish resources of the Republic of Belarus and create favorable conditions for pike-perch spawning, in accordance with paragraph 30 of the Rules of Amateur Fishing and paragraph 68 of the Rules of Fishery Management, the following is prohibited: catching pike-perch in fishing grounds from April 15 to May 30, 2025. Any pike-perch caught must be released back into the water alive and unharmed. Administrative penalties for catching pike-perch include a fine of 10 to 30 Basic Units, and for each pike-perch caught during the spring ban on its capture, the environmental damage is calculated at triple the rate and amounts to 18 Basic Units (756 rubles).
