In accordance with Article 26 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of December 30, 2011 No. 334-Z "On Advocacy and Advocacy in the Republic of Belarus" (as amended by the Law of the Republic of Belarus of December 29, 2012 No. 7-Z), lawyers provide the following types of legal assistance:
- Provide consultations and explanations on legal issues;
- -prepare applications, complaints, and other legal documents;
- Represent the interests of clients in courts, including at the stage of execution of court decisions, as well as in state bodies, other organizations, including their management bodies, and before individuals;
- Participate in pre-trial proceedings and court in criminal cases as a defense counsel, as well as a representative of victims, civil plaintiffs, civil defendants;
- Participate in administrative proceedings as a defense counsel, representative of a victim, other individuals or legal entities participating in administrative proceedings;
- Conduct legal assessment of documents and activities;
- Carry out legal work to ensure economic and other activities;
- Carry out legal work on attracting investments to the Republic of Belarus;
- Perform legally significant actions on behalf of and in the interests of clients within the scope of authority granted to them by the client and legislation;
- Provide other types of legal assistance.
