«POMOGUT.BY»  - providing information assistance to people in difficult life situations.

The Center's objective:

to carry out organizational, practical and methodological work on social services and provision of social services to citizens (families) in difficult life situations within the territory of the Verkhnedvinsk district.

The main tasks of the Center are:

  • participation in monitoring the socio-demographic situation and developing proposals for improving social services for the population in the territory of the respective administrative-territorial unit;
  • identification and differentiated (by category) accounting of citizens in difficult life situations, determination of the necessary forms of social services and types of social services for them;
  • provision of temporary shelter, material assistance, consulting and information, social and domestic, social and pedagogical, social intermediary, social psychological, social rehabilitation services, caregiver services, hourly childcare services (nanny services) and other social services provided for by the List of free and publicly available social services of state social service institutions to citizens in difficult life situations;
  • provision of assistance to citizens in difficult life situations in overcoming difficult life situations and (or) adapting to them; carrying out experimental and innovative activities in the field of social services; conducting information and educational work on topical issues of social services in the Verkhnedvinsk district;
  • attracting volunteers to cooperate in providing social services to citizens in difficult life situations;
  • cooperation with organizations of various forms of ownership and individual entrepreneurs on issues of social services for the population within its competence;
  • studying, summarizing and implementing best domestic and foreign practices of social services.

Center specialists provide:

  • home-based social services;
  • social and domestic adaptation and rehabilitation of disabled people;
    • payment of financial assistance from the Social Protection Fund;
    • foreign gratuitous aid;
    • acceptance of documents for making decisions on the appointment of state targeted social assistance, provision of food products for children up to two years of age;
    • acceptance of documents for the provision of rehabilitation aids for disabled persons;
    • psychological assistance;
    • assistance to disabled persons in restoring (compensating) skills for self-care that have been impaired or lost due to illness, and in preparing for independent living;
    • legal assistance;
    • consultations on various social issues.
