Lukyanenko Evgeny

Born on December 8, 1984, in the village of Golubichi, Gluboksky district.

Graduated from Golubichi Secondary School.

In 2001, moved to the village of Borkovichi, Verkhnedvinsky district.

After graduating from Borkovichi Secondary School, he enrolled in Vocational School No. 28 in Novopolotsk. He graduated from the school in 2004.

In August 2004, he became disabled.

In March 2009, he began to engage in skiing.

At the Championship of the Republic of Belarus, he won two third places in the 5 and 10 km races.

At a World Cup stage in Germany, he took fifth place in the sprint.

In 2009, he took second and third place in adaptive rowing competitions and second place in powerlifting.

In 2010, he participated in the Winter Paralympic Games in Vancouver.

Master of Sports in cross-country skiing.

Vasyukovich Sergey Nikolaevich, born on 10.10.1987 in Verkhnedvinsk. In 1994, he entered Secondary School No. 2. From 1996 to 2005, he trained in volleyball at the Verkhnedvinsk Children and Youth Sports School. From 1998 to 2002, he studied in a music and choir-oriented class, playing the bayan and trumpet. In 2005, he graduated from school and enrolled in Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports. Currently, he is an instructor-methodologist for physical fitness and recreational and sports-mass work with the population at the State Institution "Verkhnedvinsky District Physical Culture and Sports Club."

Since 2007, he began training at the triathlon club (Swimming + Cycling + Running) and orienteering of SC "Tri-O".

In the same year, 2007, he achieved the sports rank of "Candidate for Master of Sports in Duathlon" (5 km run; 20 km cycling; 2.5 km run). In 2008, he achieved the sports rank of I adult in sports orienteering. On May 30, 2009, he took 3rd place at the Championship of the Republic of Belarus in triathlon (duathlon). On July 7, 2009, he participated in the international triathlon competition in a half-iron distance (Half IronMan: 1.9 km swimming; 90 km cycling; 21.1 km running), where he took 13th place out of 43 participants with a result of 5 hours 9 minutes 45 seconds.

In May 2010, he achieved the sports rank of "Candidate for Master of Sports in All-Around" (running – 100m; swimming – 100m; shooting; grenade throw; running – 3000m).

On May 30, 2010, he took 5th place at the Championship of the Republic of Belarus in triathlon (duathlon), achieving the sports rank of Master of Sports of the Republic of Belarus.

He consistently competes in district, regional, and republican competitions, representing the honor of the Verkhnedvinsk district and region in various sports.

Kul Aleksandr

Three-time USSR champion as part of the youth team of the BSSR in 1990 and 1991.

Bronze medalist of the European Championship among cadets as part of the Cis team in 1992.

European champion in the U22 category as part of the Belarusian team in 1994 (for which he received the title of Master of Sports of Belarus). He was also selected for the symbolic European team and received the title of best center.

Two-time participant in "March Madness" and the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) tournament as part of the team of George Washington University. (Washington, D.C., Usa) in 1995 and 1997.

Semifinalist of the European Saporta Cup as part of Anvil (Wocawek, Poland) in 2002.

Bronze medalist of the Polish Championship as part of Zepter (Wrocaw, Poland) in 2003.

Finalist of the European Challenge Cup as part of Keravnos (Nicosia, Cyprus) in 2007. In the same year, he was the winner of the Cyprus Cup.

Three-time champion of Belarus in 1994, 2009, and 2010.

Tsyulko Pavel Iosifovich was born on July 6, 1987, in the village of Lazduny, Ivye district, Grodno region. In 1993, he started attending Bobrovich Secondary School. At the age of 14, he began practicing arm wrestling. He represented his school and district in competitions in volleyball, basketball, football, track and field, combined events, and kettlebell lifting.

In 2004, he enrolled in the Belarusian State Technological University in Minsk. He participated in various competitions. He trained at the "Technolog" sports club. In 2007, he took 1st place in the city competitions in kettlebell lifting. From October 17-19, 2008, he took 2nd place in the Republic of Belarus Cup in arm wrestling among men and women in left-hand wrestling in the 70 kg weight category. On February 21, 2009, he took 1st place in the Minsk city arm wrestling championship in the 75 kg weight category. From March 13-15, 2009, he took 2nd place in the Republic of Belarus arm wrestling championship in the 70 kg weight category. He was awarded the title of Master of Sport on June 22, 2009. In 2009, he graduated from the university and was assigned to the "Verkhnedvinsk Leskhoz" State Forestry Enterprise. From May 4, 2009, to August 4, 2010, he worked as a forester in the Bigosovskoye forestry. He competed in district, regional, and republican competitions for the honor of the Verkhnedvinsk district and region in various sports.

Kitun Sergey Vasilievich was born in Narovlya, Gomel region on August 11, 1982.

In 1986, he moved to Verkhnedvinsk.

Began training at the Verkhnedvinsk Children and Youth Sports School in 1993. Initially trained under V.V. Batyanova, and then seriously took up volleyball under the guidance of Vladimir Viktorovich Vishnyakov.

In the 9th grade, I went to study at the Vitebsk School of the Olympic Reserve. After graduation, I received an offer to play for the team "Shakhtospecstroy" in Soligorsk.

As part of the national team of the Republic of Belarus, I repeatedly participated in qualifying rounds for the World and European Volleyball Championships and the Euro League in 2008-2009-2010. In the countries: Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, England, Austria, Turkey, Portugal.

Lagun Sergey

Born on May 27, 1988, in the village of Dyorovichi, Verkhnedvinsk district.

In 1994-2000, I studied at the Dyorovichi School.

From 2000 to 2008, studied at the Olympic Reserve School in Novopolotsk (Weightlifting Department).

2002 - Prize-winner of the Championship of the Republic of Belarus among juniors.

2005 - European Cadet Championship, Sofia (Bulgaria) - 2nd place.

2007 - World Junior Championship, Prague (Czech Republic) - 1st place.

2007 - European Championship, Canary Islands (Spain) - 1st place.

2008 - Olympic Games, Beijing (China) - 10th place.

2008 - Graduated from the Olympic Reserve School and enrolled in Psu, Novopolotsk.

2009 - World Men's Championship (Korea) - 2nd place

1st place in the clean and jerk.

2010 - World Men's Championship (Turkey) - 3rd place

1st place in the clean and jerk.

On April 22, 2011, Sergey Lagun tragically died in a road accident.
