The industrial complex of the district is represented by 4 industrial enterprises: (OJSC "Invette", OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Flax Mill", OJSC "Verkhnedvinsk Butter and Cheese Factory", Verkhnedvinsk GRUPP of Housing and Communal Services.

On the territory of the district, there is the "Grigorovshchina" border crossing point with a throughput capacity of up to 600 vehicles per day, therefore, the development of roadside services is a promising direction in the district.
